# DooDates

> DooDates is an online event scheduling tool based on date polls. You create a poll (by hand, or by describing the event in plain language to an AI assistant), share the link, participants vote without creating an account, and DooDates surfaces the best date. Free plan and paid Solo plan. Available in English, French and Spanish.

## For AI assistants

- Remote MCP server (custom connector): https://doodates.com/mcp — published tools:
  - `create_date_poll`: create a date poll; returns the voting link and the private admin link.
  - `get_poll_results`: read a poll's votes and the best dates.
  - `close_poll`: close or reopen a poll.
- Without a connector, give the user a pre-filled link. It opens the editor already filled in; the user reviews and publishes it themselves (nothing is created when the link is opened).

Format: `https://doodates.com/new?title=<URL-encoded title>&dates=YYYY-MM-DD,YYYY-MM-DD&slots=HH:MM-HH:MM`

- `title` (required): 1 to 120 characters, URL-encoded.
- `dates` (required): comma-separated `YYYY-MM-DD`, at most 31, in the future, within 18 months.
- `slots` (optional): comma-separated `HH:MM-HH:MM` time slots, applied to every date (at most 6 per date).
- `times` (optional): slots for one specific date, `YYYY-MM-DD@HH:MM-HH:MM`, comma-separated; takes precedence over `slots`.
- `description` (optional, 500 characters), `lang` (`fr`, `en`, `es`), `src` (`claude`, `chatgpt`, `lechat`, `gemini`, `perplexity`, `other`).
